Example Scenarios:

• A major manufacturing company needed to investigate the activities of its sales manager, whom the company suspected was in breach of his employment contract by diverting new business to a competitor company. These suspicions were confirmed with the use of electronic surveillance equipment, the sales manager was also found to have a financial interest in the competitor company.

• An engineering company had been tipped off by an anonymous source that an employee was working (cash in hand) whilst claiming to be unfit for work. Using multiple surveillance operatives we followed the person and established she was working on a market stall 4 days a week.

• A distribution company was suffering losses it suspected was due to internal pilfering by warehouse staff. Due to the premises being operational around the clock it was not practical to carryout electronic surveillance, so an investigator was introduced as part of the warehouse workforce, in time he was able to discover the method of theft and obtain the necessary evidence to identify the perpetrators.

• Following a customer compliant, a cleaning contractor suspected a member of staff of stealing from customers premises during out of hours working. After consultation with HQI the cleaning contractor was able to gain permission from his client to monitor the offices out of hours. Using covert cameras we monitored the premises for a number of weeks, able to see the cleaners enter the offices do there job and leave with no problems. Until one night the security guard was captured rummaging through the office desks. Needless to say the member of staff was not only eradicated of all blame but also the cleaning contractor got to keep the valuable contract.

• A city centre bookmaker was the victim of fly tipping and was unable to identify the source of all this rubbish. We were able to carry out surveillance on the premises and establish a local takeaway as the source. When faced with the evidence the owner of the takeaway was horrified that in his absence rubbish was not correctly disposed of. This matter has not reoccurred.
